Switzerland

Switzerland is facing a bleak situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The case positivity rate has increased to 28.9%, which is far above the 1% optimal threshold set by the CDC. Lockdown is likely as the country is running out of hospital beds.

Luxembourg's existing partnership with the telecommunications companies Ericsson and POST Luxembourg has been expanded to deploy a 5G core and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) in Luxembourg; this will include standalone and non-standalone 5G.
